Today, the 8th March, is a day that the world stands together and celebrates women, for all we have achieved and all we strive towards. As women, we have a voice and we have to work to make the change we dream of a reality and it is up to us to do exactly that.
This year the theme worldwide is #PressForProgress - could it be any more fitting? There is so much information and so many messages, and in a world where everything is so accessible online, it can easily become confusing.
The truth is that today can be whatever we individually interpret it to be… that is the beauty of equality, individuality. As my friend @Glamzilla would say;
For me today is a chance to remind every single one of you that you are perfect, just the way you are. You are capable of everything you desire. You deserve the opportunity to go out there and as we say at Pro Blo… "Make It Happen!"
Someday we all need a lift, a little motivation, a reminder that we can be, we can achieve and we can succeed in whatever we wish for. Will it be tough? Absolutely. Will there be moments of self doubt? Absolutely. Will you make it? Abso-freakin'-lutely!! Why? Let me tell you why… because we are women; we are resilient, strong, powerful and damn beautiful!
